We like dogs (and cats, and whatever household pets that are out there) and we like trance music. That's why we found this music video from Vitalic to be so cool. Very interesting use of Dogs, Trance, and Laser Beams. Yes, Laser Beams.
Their first tracks were available on the web as MP3s. This helped them to build a following with no album release. Later on, when they headlined the charts on MP3.com, their music was downloaded over one million times. In 1999, after returning from their first European tour, they signed with a German label and released their first album. In 2000 they relocated to Germany and started their own record label, AP Records, whose first release was their second album, Underground.
In mid 2004 they released their third album, Trance 'N Roll. The album is close to a live show. The songs feature live instruments, hard rock guitar riffs and vocals. This video is a song off that album...
Travis Barker and Soulja Boy. Sounds like a match made in Hell. I fan other either I'm not. But I will have to say this is an interesting and pretty decent version of Crank Dat with Barker playing the drums. Check it out and decide for yourself...
With a title like Goth Girls Are Easy by a group calling themselves Lesbian Death Bed, I thought for sure this song would fall pretty far down the stupid scale. But even with lyrics like, "Black lips, big tits..." it turns out to be an all right song (if this is your thing.) So have a look/listen...I think the video needs more in the "big tits" department, but overall I give it a thumbs up.
I've been getting on the bad public television kick lately. Some of this stuff is simply insane, as we can see here with Sondra Prill, a Tampa Florida resident circa 1990. Apparently she had a number of "notable" videos of which only a few seem to have survived. Of the one's I saw, this has got to be the best.
Good luck making it through the song without laughing. Now enjoy Mrs. Prill in her unforgettable rendition of Nasty Boys. More to follow...
It's HP in the house with his bishes on the side boi! Interesting music video spoof that was actually done a while back by the same people that brought us Lindsay Fully Loaded and Paris in Jail. Well done.
Do you remember what you were listening to 10 years ago? After 22 weeks on the Top 100, Sneaker Pimp's '6 Under' peaked on the charts at number 45.
The song itself is a trip hop-influenced track off of their 1996 album Becoming X. At first, the song had moderate radio airplay. However, after appearing on the soundtrack of the 1997 movie The Saint, radio stations began playing it much more frequently. The version most frequently heard on radio was the remix by Nellee Hooper (which appeared as a hidden track on the album). '6 Underground' became a crossover success, mainly on rock, alternative, and pop stations. (wiki)
